Stories of Service – Middendorf-Kredell Library Branch

Join the Mid America Veterans Museum at the Middendorf-Kredell Branch for an engaging presentation that brings history to life through personal stories, artifacts, and firsthand experiences. Ambassador Ken Cary shares the inspiring story of Ralph Barrale and the founding of the Mid America Veterans Museum before introducing a veteran or patriot guest who shares their own military journey and why they volunteer to preserve our nation’s history. Guests will also have the opportunity to view artifacts from Ken’s own military service while hearing the stories behind them, offering a unique, personal connection to our nation’s veterans. The presentation concludes with an open Q&A where attendees are invited to ask questions, learn how to donate military artifacts or veteran stories to the museum, and even share stories of their own.
