Holiday Arrangement

Celebrate the seasonal beauty of our native landscapes. In this creative workshop, we will use plants with striking winter interest to design a luminous, natural centerpiece. Using an elegant mix of dried botanicals, fresh greens, and festive holiday accents, you’ll learn how to craft a uniquely beautiful arrangement that brings the outdoors inside for the holidays. All design materials are included. Hand pruners and garden gloves provided, but feel free to bring your own. This program takes place in-person at Mt. Cuba Center Friday, December 11, 2026. 🥬 Gift or take home About the Instructor: Serah Pesce is the Education Manager at Mt. Cuba Center. She holds a BS in Landscape Contracting, Design/Build from Pennsylvania State University. Serah is a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional, as well as a Delaware Nature Society Certified Habitat Steward. In addition to teaching classes for Mt. Cuba Center’s Ecological Gardening Certificate, she shares her extensive experience in floral design. When asked to name her favorite native plant, Serah is quick to share her love for baptisia.
