Full Description Bring the whole family to STEAM PUNK: Make It Move, a free Family Day filled with hands-on creativity, experimentation, music, and magic. Inspired by the interactive artwork of contemporary artist Daniel Rozin, the day’s activities will explore motion, patterns, and the ways art and technology can work together. Families can move between hands-on maker stations designed to encourage tinkering, problem-solving, and playful discovery. Activities will include opportunities to experiment with movement and optical illusions while creating original projects to take home. The day will also feature live performances by Manhattan based musician and educator Natalie Myers and magician Jack Reid. Based in Kansas City, Reid began exploring magic at age 16 and will present mind-boggling optical illusions during two mini magic shows for all ages at 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM.
