Understanding Apostilles

The Fernandina Beach Library is hosting an Apostille Drop-Off Day presented by, SD Elite Notary Services, to provide Nassau County residents with a convenient opportunity to learn about the apostille process and submit eligible documents for processing. An apostille may be required for documents used internationally, such as for studying or working abroad, applying for dual citizenship, international adoptions, overseas property purchases, or legal and family matters. During scheduled appointments, representatives from the service will review documents, answer general questions, explain the process, identify common preparation issues, and accept eligible documents for processing if participants choose to proceed. Appointments are recommended to ensure personalized assistance, with walk-ins accommodated as time allows.
