Take in the fresh air with a gentle, flowing workout along the Maumee River. Join UToledo Health/Trauma Services at 10 am on Saturday, June 13 for our Wellness by the Boat series, presented by UToledo Health, featuring a free 45‑minute Tai Chi class held in the museum’s scenic Cliffs Great Lakes Maritime Park beside the historic Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship. Certified instructor Corey Anderson, RN, BSN, will guide you through an eight‑minute warm‑up before leading Dr. Paul Lam’s evidence‑based Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention routine. The slow, controlled movements build strength, improve balance, and reduce stress—perfect for adults of every fitness level. Bring comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and a friend. If the weather turns, we’ll move indoors so you can still enjoy the session.
