ART + WINE + CHEESE: Father-daughter artists at Nepenthe Gallery: Mehran and Ava Rashidfarokhy

We have had the wonderful fortune of partnering with a few parent/child artist duos and there is not much better than watching that dynamic at play! It is such a joy to see two generations thriving as creatives and clearly blending experiences and styles with each other. We have represented Mehran and his artworks for years and we always love to see his latest works! He was born in Iran, taught how to paint by his uncles in Munich who were both professional artists, and moved to Alexandria VA to continue his career as an artist and raise his family. We are delighted that he will introduce his daughter Ava and her original artworks to all of us at Nepenthe!
