ART + WINE + CHEESE: Local artist and collector R. Brent Erickson and selected works

We are looking forward to sharing Brent's original oil paintings and works he has collected throughout his life. Brent has gotten local and national attention of esteemed art collectors and publications. From the artist: "I love science and I love art because they are two sides of a coin. When I was in sixth grade in Wyoming I saw The Blue Boy (c. 1770), a full-length marvelous portrait in oil by Thomas Gainsborough of a young boy dressed in all blue. Like a bolt of lightning, I was so taken by this work that from that point on I wanted to learn to paint. Now, I paint almost every day because I feel only half alive if I do not!"
