About this event
One of 63 upcoming events at New Hampshire Audubon.
Grab your journals, sharpen your pencils, and join us at Paradise Point for an afternoon of nature writing and poetry on the shores of Newfound Lake. We will challenge our senses and explore a variety of styles including a mix of Eastern and Western writing philosophies. Whether you are a family looking to get back into writing to prepare for the school year, or a published poet, Paradise Point offers endless inspiration for your next prose or poem! Participants should plan to bring their own journal and writing utensils, though we will have some to offer at the nature center. Binoculars and cameras are recommended, but not required. Binoculars can be borrowed from the nature center. By attending this event, you and anyone you register on behalf of agree to NH Audubon’s Outdoor Education Program Liability Release & Agreement Waiver. Please email Jake Morel with any event questions. This program is free to attend. If you feel inspired to support New Hampshire Audubon’s work, please consider a gift to our Annual Fund at nhaudubon.org/donate. Your contribution supports priorities like environmental education for people of all ages across NH, stewardship of nearly 10,000 acres of conserved habitat, science-based environmental policy and advocacy, and statewide conservation research and wildlife monitoring.
