Peeps of Paradise Point: Birds Abound
From publicly posted calendar Checked yesterday
About this event
One of 63 upcoming events at New Hampshire Audubon.
For our final family-friendly animal tracks and traces walk at the Newfound Audubon Center, we will be focusing on birds! By conducting a mini bio blitz, we aim to identify what kind of aviary friends are calling Paradise Point home and how we can best protect them. Learn how birds have adapted to thrive in specific forest, marsh, and lake environments and how to identify birds using sights and sounds. Participants are encouraged to bring cameras, binoculars, bug spray, and a snack. We will have binoculars available to borrow for those who need them! By attending this event, you and anyone you register on behalf of agree to NH Audubon’s Outdoor Education Program Liability Release & Agreement Waiver. Please email Jake Morel with any event questions. This program is free to attend. If you feel inspired to support New Hampshire Audubon’s work, please consider a gift to our Annual Fund at nhaudubon.org/donate. Your contribution supports priorities like environmental education for people of all ages across NH, stewardship of nearly 10,000 acres of conserved habitat, science-based environmental policy and advocacy, and statewide conservation research and wildlife monitoring.
