The music is smooth and potent, with a seductive groove that captures the heart. Based in New Orleans, Giselle has built her artistic career performing locally & internationally for more than ten years. Fans have compared her to a mix of Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, and Billie Holiday. She is joined by Grayson Brockamp, considered one the best bassist in New Orleans – known for his immaculate tone, melodic overtures, versatility, uniqueness, harmonic drive, and intonation. They are thrilled to swing out together and share their passion for music! Second Set, 3-4 PM | Sariyah Idan & Strings Known as “the most hauntingly beautiful voice of the French Quarter streets”, and voted one of the city’s top street performers in The Gambit’s Best Of 2026 guide, Sariyah Idan is an internationally touring New Orleans based singer-songwriter, bandleader, and community organizer, originally from Woodstock NY. Her percussive guitar style and intoxicating stage presence stem from background as a dancer. She weaves unique sonics with poetic lyrics addressing struggle, love, social justice, and healing. Her albums include “Breaking Shadows,” “Glitter & Blood,” and “Live In Berlin.” For NOMA’s Music in the Garden performance, Sariyah will play a combination of originals and seasonal jazz and Latin tunes. She will be joined by cellist Jennie Brent whose evocative stylings range from classical to klezmer, blues, jazz, folk, and genre bending original compositions. www.sariyahidan.com
