Join the Spirit of the Woods Chapter for the November Hike. Our hike will be starting at 3 Mile Rd south of the town of Irons, MI (we will access the trail at the location where the NCT crosses 3 Mile Rd). We’ll hike south from the road crossing for approximately 3 miles and return for an approximate 6 mile total distance. The terrain consists of rolling hills in an area known as the Ward Hills and we will see McCarthy lake. Please note that the Google map link above is the approximate location where the trail crosses 3 Mile Rd where we will be meeting. You may need to drive beyond the marked point and look for cars parked on the side of the road. The hike leader is Loren Bach.
