Intro to Urban Sketching In this introduction to Urban Sketching, experienced artists and beginners alike will have the opportunity to experience, within a supportive group, what it is to be an urban sketcher. Urban Sketching can be a form of protest, an act of resistance against stress, and a tool for connection and community building. Practice being a peaceful witness of life and the details that surround you, indoors and out. This beginner friendly workshop will include an introduction to Urban Sketching, an exploration of tools and supplies, and the opportunity to sketch and paint the details that captivate you inside of OffCenter’s studio. The workshop will finish with an opportunity to show and tell our experience and artwork. Participants will leave with their own personalized package of Urban Sketching supplies.
