Open Mic

To brighten up a winter’s eve, we are hosting 2 open mics this month – you read it right! Open Mic at the Opera House always brings in a variety of talent, and a variety of audience members ready to cheer on those on stage. Musicians, storytellers and others are welcome to sign up for a 10 minute slot – emcee Eric Lowe will keep everyone organized. Sign-ups happen the night of the OM, with doors opening at 5:30 and the mic going live at 6pm in the upstairs bar at the Opera House. The Friends of the Opera House will have cooked up some light dinner offerings including chili & cornbread, and the bar will have cold drinks available for sale (cash only). $5 cover charge at the door for all helps to cover the cost of opening up the House, plowing, heating, etc – thank you in advance. Questions? Contact Eric Lowe at 207-633-5159.
