LINDY HOP SWING DANCING What folks call “swing dancing” originated in Harlem in the 1920s as the Lindy Hop. Learn this Black American partner dance that expresses music in creative ways. Footwork patterns and Lead/Follow combinations will build on previous weeks’ skills. Couples and singles are welcome. Participants change partners frequently during lessons. Five-week series: begins April 2 and ends April 30. Progressive lessons: Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm. $40/person for the series of 5 classes Limit: 20 participants Registration is required.
