About this event

BUY TICKETS  Oh, Fair to See, journeys through the depths of loneliness into the bliss of romantic awakening. A meditation on fate, audiences will contemplate the power of a chance meeting and its lasting thumbprint on life. Featuring the music of Handel, Grieg, Beethoven, Finzi, and more, Oh, Fair to See emerges from the depths of darkness into a moment of permanent alteration.   Drew A. Young is a sought-after Conductor, Music Director, and Tenor Soloist based in New York City, currently serving as Music Directing Fellow with the award-winning Choral Chameleon (under Dr. Vince Peterson) and Empire City Men’s Chorus, and recently a member of the American delegation to the 2022 Venice Biennale d’Arte. A critically acclaimed tenor praised by the Orlando Sentinel for “displaying the right amount of gravity” in Handel’s Judas Maccabeus, he has toured with the HBO National Concert Tour of Game of Thrones: Live in Concert and sung Beethoven’s Ninth with the Royal Philharmonic under Maestro Edwin Outwater. Young holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting (with distinction) from Shenandoah University Conservatory and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rollins College, and he continues an active performance schedule—heard Sundays at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church—while maintaining a growing private voice studio.   Ronnie Romano is a versatile musician based in Vermont who works throughout the Northeast as a pianist, organist, conductor, and educator. Primarily focused on choral music and community building, he serves as Director of Music for the Middlebury College Community Chorus and the Congregational Church of Middlebury. He also has extensive experience as a musical theater conductor, collaborative pianist, and ear training teacher.     VENUE DETAILS All Sales Are Final.
