CLOUDS & FALL SCENES IN ACRYLIC:Wednesdays, September 23 & 30, 11:30am -2pm

Create beautiful clouds and colorful fall scenes. Students will explore the use of color, value, edges and brush stroke techniques. Instructor: Cathy Faughnan (www.cathyfaughnan.com) Adults and Teens – minimum 4, max 10 participants Description: This 2 class series will focus on two exciting elements of a landscape painting to help students gain knowledge and techniques to create beautiful clouds and colorful fall scenes. Students will explore the use of color, value, edges and brush stroke techniques during this class series. Students will create 1-2 works during this class series either combining these two elements or creating paintings emphasizing one or the other. This class series is open to beginning and more advanced students. The instructor will help those just starting out with the concepts of color theory, value and drawing however it is recommended that for the very new beginner taking the Acrylic Bootcamp class on September 16 is recommended. Students can choose to take the classes as a series or individually as their schedule allows. Materials: Students will supply all materials including a sketch book and sketching tools, paint, brushes, pallet and painting surface of your choice. Some reference photos will be provided but students are encouraged to take and bring their own. Please bring a phone with a camera to aid in developing your painting and documenting your progress.
