For beginning watercolor students who have taken a watercolor class before, existing watercolor artists whose techniques are rusty, or artists who want some continuing instruction or who want to learn new techniques. Choose the class or classes that interest you most. Many of the classes can tailored to beginner or intermediate watercolor skills but check the skill level before purchase or contact the instructor. Description: Mini is in the title because these watercolor workshops are only 2-1/2 hours long instead of a full or half day. You may choose which class or classes you want to attend based on your own schedule and interests. Find the workshop number, name and date you want (afternoon or evening classes are offered) and the full description by the number. Many of the classes can be adjusted based on skill level. For example, transfer paper can be provided if your drawing skills are not where you want them to be. Workshop 1: Watercolor and Gold Leaf – This class will be a bit of fun playing with both gold (and copper and silver) leaf and how you can use it to enhance your watercolor paintings. We will be painting some stormy clouds, and we can do a moon, or lightning. Or we can do some abstract applications with the gold leaf. We can enhance botanicals.
