Instructor: Jeanne Hougen Ages: Teens and Adults, age 15 and up Prerequisite: This class is designed for someone with some painting experience. If you are a beginner, please contact instructor. Class size: minimum of 3, maximum of 12 Description: Learn how color changes in value, temperature and intensity as it wraps around an object, and as it passes through light and shadow. In this 4 week class we will explore how color can play a major role in gaining a sense of 3 dimensions. You will improve on mixing subtle color shifts, which will elevate the beauty of your paintings in whatever style you work in, and with whatever subject matter you choose. Bring to class: all you need is a sketchbook and pencil on the first day of class. We will discuss supplies, and you will receive a supply list then.
