Bring an item or a garment you wish to repair or embellish. Description: Visible Mending celebrates the ornamentation and art of the repair process. It adds a uniqueness and personality to your favorite clothes while embracing sustainable fashion and keeping items out of the landfill longer. Visible mending can be used on tears, holes, vintage items, or as a bit of decorative wearable art. In this class we will practice embroidery and appliqué techniques. Familiarity with hand sewing required. Knowledge of embroidery helpful.
