EVENT CANCELLED Unfortunately, recent challenges have made it impossible for CCTA to travel to Homer to present this performance. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you at our next event! Join Climate Change Theater Action (CCTA) for a special theater production of “Laughing all the Way to the Brink.” Featuring eight international plays and music, this program highlights our changing climate and the power of the individual to make a difference. Performed by DramaforaChange and RKP Productions. Free, drop-in program. About CCTA Climate Change Theatre Action (CCTA) is a global, biennial festival that uses the power of theater to spark conversation and inspire climate action. Since its launch in 2015, CCTA has commissioned 50 playwrights from around the world to create short plays exploring different aspects of climate change. Communities are invited to produce their own performances, from staged readings and full productions to podcasts and film adaptations, tailoring events to local audiences while incorporating meaningful actions such as conversations with scientists, partnerships with environmental organizations, or civic engagement activities.
