Turkish Coffee + Block Printing with Melih Meriç

Celebrate the last day of the exhibition New Voices: Design at Print Center New York with artist Melih Meriç. The artist will brew Turkish coffee in traditional copper pots featuring hand-engraved ornaments, tying this community practice of sharing coffee to the visual language of their work on view. Participants will also learn how to make repeating patterns to be carved onto linoleum blocks which they can print on-site or at home.Registration opens August 8th.
