About this event
One of 36 upcoming events at Public Works Art Center.
A sound bath is a guided meditative, restorative experience where participants are “bathed” in soothing sounds, resonant tones, and vibrations produced by instruments like singing bowls and chimes. Benefits of this experience include stress reduction, deep relaxation, and enhancement of mental clarity and focus. These sessions create a unique opportunity for participants to rest, unwind, reset. Please dress comfortably and be sure to bring a yoga mat or something soft to lie on. For added comfort and relaxation, you’re welcome to bring a pillow or bolster, a blanket, and an eye mask. Meet the Teacher, Jennifer Ferrara: Hello! I’m Jennifer, a Wellness Facilitator and Sound Bath Practitioner with a passion for helping others find moments of peace, balance, and connection in today’s busy world. I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in English. My educational background, combined with a long-time interest in mindfulness and personal well-being, has shaped my approach to creating unique, meaningful wellness experiences. I believe that everyone needs and deserves the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with themselves. That belief and a love for the unique experience a sound bath provides, inspired me to create welcoming spaces where people can step away from the demands of everyday life and simply rest, reflect, and restore. It is a privilege to share these experiences with others, and I look forward to welcoming you to a session.
