About this event
One of 10 upcoming events at Quilters HQ, and 818 across Kansas City.
Get comfortable and confident with your BERNINA embroidery machine! This hands-on class is designed to help new BERNINA embroidery machine owners become familiar with their machine's embroidery features and discover how easy and enjoyable machine embroidery can be. We'll guide you through the essential embroidery functions of your machine, including preparing your machine for embroidery, selecting and loading designs, navigating the embroidery menus, hooping fabric, choosing stabilizers, positioning and editing designs, changing thread colors, and stitching out your first embroidery designs. You'll also learn helpful tips for troubleshooting common embroidery issues and caring for your machine. This is a machine education class, not an embroidery techniques or project class. Our focus is on helping you understand and confidently operate your BERNINA's embroidery features so you can get the most out of your investment. Purchased from Windmill Sewing Center or Quilters HQ: Class tuition is complimentary! Purchased elsewhere: $150 class tuition. Class consumable fee: $15 for all attendees, including those receiving complimentary tuition. A digital copy of the Embroidery Guide Class Manual is included at no additional charge for you to download and print at home. Prefer a printed manual? Printed copies are available for $35. Please bring: Your BERNINA embroidery machine, embroidery module (if applicable), power cord, embroidery hoops, embroidery foot, accessories, and owner's manual. Whether you're exploring machine embroidery for the first time or upgrading to a BERNINA with more advanced embroidery capabilities, we're here to help you embroider with confidence!
