But some of those who visited the young doctor found themselves trapped behind hidden doors and in labyrinthine corridors of a building designed for destruction. For over a hundred and thirty years, the true crime world has been captivated and chilled by the monstrous deeds of America’s first notorious serial killer. Many know the legends of the "Murder Castle," the details as told to us for more than a century... but what don’t we know? And how much of what we think we know is actually correct? Who was the real Herman Webster Mudgett? Join us for a unique true crime experience, brought to you as only Sarah Cailean can. We’ll peel back the sensationalized myths of the Gilded Age, examine Holmes' timeline and psychological profile through the eyes of an investigator and profiler, and look closely at the victims whose stories were swallowed by the macabre headlines of history. About Sarah Cailean Sarah Cailean is a former police officer and detective who’s now an independent consultant for cold case homicides and disappearances, specializing in cases involving serial predators. Sarah is the creator and host of a series of hit podcasts from Investigation Discovery, Why Can’t We Talk About Amanda’s Mom?, Who Killed Jennifer Judd?, and Who Took Misty Copsey? She has served as a crime correspondent for HLN and NewsNation’s Cuomo, and contributes to numerous true crime podcasts and documentaries. In addition to her current work as a special investigator with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and the Gainesville Police Department, Sarah hosts a series of true crime lecture events all over the country. ——- —— We'll have our food menu available, with the best hot dogs in town, and have over 200 types of beer, wine, cider, mead, hard kombucha & seltzer and non-alcoholic options for everyone. Free parking is available in the Grant Park Clinic lot, located immediately to the right (south) of Red’s. There is also a gravel lot directly behind the clinic/church that our guests are welcome to use. Additional parking is available in front of Red’s or along Benteen Way, which is about a 0.1 mile walk to the left (north) of Red’s. Please do not park in front of Iglesia Pentecostal El Tabernaculo de Restauracion or across the street on Warmbreeze Road. Cars parked in those areas may be towed. Here’s a map!
