Expressive Florals in Alcohol Inks

THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD AT OUR NEW STUDIO- COTTON MILL STUDIOS- 122 RIVERSIDE DRIVE, SUITE #21 – upstairs to the left Join us for a morning of community and creativity as we explore the versatile, fun and expressive medium of alcohol inks! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll discover how alcohol inks interact with one another as they bloom, expand, and flow across the surface, creating unexpected forms and organic movement. Working on black synthetic paper, we’ll experience how beautifully the inks reveal themselves in vibrant contrast against dark backgrounds. Throughout the class, Kimberly will share techniques for creating floral/petal forms and compositions, creating soft fades, layering for richness and dimension, and adding luminous metallic accents that bring your work to life.
