Join Regional Parks for this fun, hands-on activity, Art in the Park: Watercolor Jellyfish activity, Tuesday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mojave Narrows Regional Park. This event provides an artistic path to creating beautiful and engaging art experiences for kids, as they explore their imagination and design their own ocean-inspired jellyfish. This activity is designed to impress beginning artists with the concepts of movement and color, using ethereal and/or dreamy characteristics, highlighting the vibrant, soft, delicate and often atmospheric quality of the ocean and its inhabitants. Don’t miss this chance to create, explore, and make something truly beautiful — perfect for families looking to add a splash of color and creativity to their day! All ages are welcome to join! All supplies are provided while they last. Mojave Narrows Regional Park offers the perfect landscape to spend the day at the park fishing, hiking, biking, on the playground or splash pad, picnicking and grilling. Pack the car and come out for this exciting day of exploring the great outdoors. Mojave Narrows is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is located at 18000 Yates Rd. in Victorville. This event is free for those camping with us. General park admission is $10 per vehicle Mon-Fri, $15 per vehicle Sat-Sun, and $20 per vehicle on holidays.
