About this event

Get ready to mix, fizz, and explore with Regional Parks for this exciting hands-on science activity at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, Thursday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., celebrating the country’s 250 Semiquincentennial anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Bring the whole family and discover how safe and simple food ingredients like sugar and vinegar can create an amazing chemical reaction that looks just like a burst of fireworks. As you watch your creation come to life, you’ll also learn how chemistry is happening all around us in fun and surprising ways. It’s a colorful, hands-on experiment that blends creativity with science and turns your table into a mini-celebration of fizz and motion! Don’t miss this chance to explore, create, and learn together — it’s the perfect family-friendly activity that brings a little sparkle, a little science, and a whole lot of fun! All ages are welcome. Leashed pets are welcome too! All supplies will be provided while they last. Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park offers the perfect landscape to spend the day at the park fishing, biking, on the playground or splash pad, picnicking and grilling.
