Saturday, September 13, 2025 12-7:30pm San Francisco Botanical Garden — Celebration Garden Mariah Parker’s Indo Latin Jazz Ensemble Performing from 1-2:20pm As a composer, pianist, and bandleader, Mariah Parker’s work explores the intersection between contemporary jazz and the musical cultures of Brazil, Cuba, India and Spain. Drawing inspiration from indigenous traditions as well as newly evolving forms, her goal is to shine a light on the diverse practices that enrich our world. Sixth Station Trio Performing from 3-4:20pm Experience the music of your favorite Studio Ghibli films arranged and performed by Sixth Station Trio: a professional violin, cello, and piano trio based right here in San Francisco! The trio plays an expansive variety of music, from Western classical to pop, and they debuted at San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral in 2023 to a sold-out crowd. Dred Scott & Cali Mambo Performing from 5-7pm An iconoclastic entertainer and renegade pianist, Dred Scott is known for his playful and stylistically diverse repertoire. His most recent album, Cali Mambo, was inspired by the George Shearing and Cal Tjader collaborations and heavily features vibes (i.e., vibraphones). — What is the Flower Piano Lounge? During Flower Piano 2025, the Celebration Garden in the Botanical Garden will be transformed into the Flower Piano Lounge, an upgraded musical landscape featuring priority entry to the festival, special performances from local headliners, access to premium bars, food from local makers, lounge seating, dedicated restrooms, and flexibility to relax and enjoy all areas of the festival at will. The Lounge has limited capacity. Flower Piano Lounge All Access Pass A Flower Piano Lounge All Access Pass gives you access to the Lounge on both Saturday and Sunday. Come and go as you please between the Lounge and the rest of the Garden! Enjoy all the scheduled Lounge performances throughout the weekend and make the Lounge your home base for relaxation and refreshments. Lounge programming continues after the rest of the festival ends each day, making it the perfect spot to close out your Flower Piano experience!
