New Year's Eve with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Make unforgettable memories with a sparkling full-orchestra concert of classical favorites by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be followed immediately by a snazzy party just steps away in Studio Theatre. The concert, conducted by Resident Conductor William Langley, gets off to a spectacular start with Verdi's Overture to La forza del destino - followed by the most famous aria from the opera, "Pace, pace, mio Dio," sung by guest artist Jouelle Roberson, who turned heads as an Atlanta Opera studio artist. More treasured favorites, both orchestral and vocal, compose the rest of the program, including "Song to the Moon" from Dvorak's Rusalka, Bizet's Carmen Suite, "Dance of the Hours" from La gioconda, "I Want to Be a Prima Donna" from The Enchantress, the ravishing Intermezzo from Cavalleria rusticana...and it wouldn't be New Year's Eve without the younger Strauss's On the Beautiful Blue Danube and the elder Strauss's Radetsky March. Ring in the New is the afterparty and toast to the New Year that begins at 10:00 p.m. - just steps away in Studio Lobby! Find New Year's Eve Afterparty Tickets
