Acadia National Park Science Symposium Full-day Forum: October 22nd, 2026 Register Now! Hosted by Schoodic Institute and the National Park Service, the Acadia National Park Science Symposium provides a forum to learn about science taking place in the region and to interact and build collaborations with scientists, educators, students, park staff, and others working in a range of fields. On October 22nd, attend in person at Moore Auditorium on Schoodic Institute’s campus to enjoy speaker sessions, networking opportunities, poster sessions, morning coffee and pastries, and a full lunch (included in your registration!). If you are not able to join us in-person at Schoodic Institute, a virtual option is also available. Learn from and network with a variety of science professionals working in Acadia and beyond. This year’s theme is Protecting the Present, Fostering Future Acadia. Morning coffee, pastries, and a full lunch with dessert are included in your registration fee, as well as the opportunity to present a research poster. If you cancel your reservation up to 2 weeks prior to arrival, you will get your money back, less a $50 per room processing fee. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, we will retain 50% of total payment made. When cancelled in the last 72 hours prior to check in at 3pm, the full 100% of your reservation will be charged. We advise you to buy travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances and to avoid any costs associated with cancellation. A shortened stay or not showing up will be regarded as a cancellation, and guests will be charged for their room. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is 10am. A late check-out fee may apply. .
