Join us this summer for Cursive Foundations—a welcoming, hands-on series designed especially for kids learning cursive for the first time, with space for adults who want a refresher. In this series, during each session, students will: practice the “building block” strokes that make cursive easier learn letter shapes and how to connect them write simple words and short phrases with confidence build steady progress in a relaxed, encouraging setting—without pressure We’ll also spend time learning to read cursive, using a few selected diary entries from the SHSM collection. Materials: SHSM will provide workbooks and pens. Schedule: Official dates and times TBD (we’re considering Sundays in the summer). Format: Classes may be taken as a series or as drop-in sessions. Cost: $30 per class. Ages: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
