@ In celebration of America 250, the Shore Line Trolley Museum is bringing back trolley fares from a decade ago. On select days this season, visitors can ride at 2016 admission prices and experience the history of electric rail transportation along the oldest continuously operating suburban street railway in the United States, first opened on July 31, 1900. Wayback Fare Day Pricing Adults: $10 Seniors (62+): $8 Children (ages 2–15): $6 Children under 2: Free Admission includes trolley rides and time to explore the museum’s historic car barns and exhibits. Visitors ride aboard authentic antique trolley cars from cities such as New Haven, New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Johnstown, PA while learning how electric railways helped connect communities and shape modern transportation. Tickets are available at the Visitor Center on the day of your visit. Boarding is first-come, first-served, and trolleys depart regularly throughout the day. If a car reaches capacity, guests are welcome to board the next available trolley.
