Saints or Sinners? Biographies of Four Women

The OED defines BIOGRAPHY as: “an account of a person’s life written by another individual.” And Webster’s indicates: “the written history of a person’s life.” The focus of these four lectures will be four well known women: Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, Alexandra Feodorovna Romanova, Tsarina of Russia, Wallis Warfield Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor, and Joan of Arc. Exploring the lives of these four women will also pose the pressing question: were they saints or sinners?
