He has played with world renowned artists such as Chris Potter, Chris Cheek, Mark Turner, Aaron Parks, Joe Martin, Eric Harland, Kendrick Scott, Kevin Hays, Taylor Eigsti among others. He’s also headlined in many major clubs in New York and abroad including. With a unique approach to his originals as well as standards Ricardo's music is modern, melodic, dynamic and always grooving and swinging. "... a post-bop guitarist with a sideline interest in the cosmos and a taste for the ultramodern." - Nate Chinen, The New York Times “...Grilli’s considerable chops are in full effect in each setting... This is an admirable outing by a new face on the scene. - Bill Milkowski, Downbeat Magazine
