Foraging & Fermenting Class Saturday, May 30th 2-4 PM Tickets $40 REGISTER HERE Join us Saturday, May 30th at 2 PM at Dudley Farm for a class on Foraging and Fermenting. CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers and forager & chef Vinny Crotta will be co-teaching this class. Participants will learn how to positively identify edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms that could be found this time of year. You will also learn how to use wild species in fermentation. We will walk the grounds to practice plant and mushroom ID. Participants will then have an opportunity to make their own wild ferments to bring home. Fee is $40 per person, with 20% donated to the Dudley Foundation. You will be emailed further details the day before the class. We will run the class rain or shine. If it is raining, we will hold the lecture portion and ferment making portion indoors at the barn at Dudley Farm.
Visit our preserved 19th-century farm, Farmhouse and Quinnipiac Dawnland Museums by private tour (only) in November.
