The Borderlands: Calypso & Odysseus

If you have any questions please reach out to [email protected]. Registration required at Treewild.org Friday to Sunday, October 16–18 & 23–25 Borderlands is an immersive, interactive experience, presented through films and a theatrical soundtrack, set in an illuminated forest. The audience uses shadow puppets to act out the scenes as the story unfolds. The story of the Odyssey is an unquestioned myth. But, what if Odysseus spent seven years on the island with Calypso learning how to be a man… not just a man, but a good one? By doing the hard work to become a conscientious person, could the outcome be radically different? This show is considered PG. It is written for adults and appropriate only for children who are comfortable with involved storytelling and some violence.
