Carefree Art Night: Aileen Frick

Few artists can create such unified artwork out of thousands of small pieces, but collage master Aileen Frick has an instinct for building an impressive whole out of thousands of tiny parts. Stand across the room, and her collages look like impressionist paintings done with palette knives. Move a little closer, and you’ll see hundreds of torn magazines and handmade paper overlaid with oils and acrylics. Aileen blurs the boundaries between paint and printed images, creating spaces that invite viewers inside her vision. Come chat with her about her work!
