About this event
One of 57 upcoming events at Tucson Symphony Center.
You’ll want to bust out a joyful Yee Haw! for the newest TSO chapter of pops programming. The selection of songs has been carefully crafted by TSO’s new Principal Pops Conductor Evan Roider; composers who have been inspired by the unique landscape of Arizona and the rich cultural history of the region. Scottsdale native Nathaniel Hackmann will join the TSO singing Copland’s Old American Songs with a unique interpretation based on his experience from Broadway. I chose three Western songs that had something to do with Arizona, each totally orchestrated in a new way—really like a premiere. Evan Roider Evan Roider’s appearance is made possible by the James H. and Frances R. Allen Family Foundation in Loving Memory of Kimberlee Allen.
