About this event
One of 57 upcoming events at Tucson Symphony Center.
A thoroughly serious, intelligent musician, raves the Financial Times of London. The Boston Herald declares his playing is direct, honest and a joy to hear. GRAMMY® Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell is credited with expanding the reach of classical music through his education advocacy and leadership as music director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. Featured on the Oscar-winning original score The Red Violin, by John Corigliano, Bell partnered again with the composer for the 2025 Tucson premiere of Tennessee Songs. He will take the stage with soprano Larisa Martínez and Music Director José Luis Gómez leading the TSO, before performing Bruch’s virtuosic Violin Concerto No. 1. Sponsored by the Connie Hillman Family Foundation, with additional support from the Tucson Desert Song Festival, and Plan Your Visit This concert will go on sale to the public on November 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. This concert is available now as an add-on after purchase of any subscription series.
