A big, luscious tone and a technique as natural as breathing. The Washington Post of Paul Huang Paul Huang returns to Tucson, joining José Luis Gómez and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra for Brahms’ romantic Violin Concerto. Prior to Huang taking the stage, we invite the audience to discover Herencia, written in 2023 by Spanish-American Composer Andrea Casarrubios. Herencia honors both her heritage, and that of the listener. Mozart’s joyous Symphony No. 31, known as the “Paris” Symphony, follows: a work composed when Mozart was just 22 years of age, during an eight-month stay in Paris while seeking stable employment.
