Sunday Tour: 250th History Tour

FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 12-17 On this guided tour, you’ll visit historic structures and discover how the Minshall, Painter, and Tyler families used the land and left a lasting legacy – including a remarkable collection of trees planted by the Painter brothers. Travel over 260 years of history and uncover how Tyler’s past continues to shape its present. About your guide: Dale Harris has been a longtime volunteer at Tyler with a special interest in maintaining and learning more about our Pollinator Preserve, as well as our trees and history. She is a retired Psychologist and musician.
