Continuing Charleston for Swing Dancers (Week Four)

Terry and Cate will be your teachers for this class intended to improve and expand your range of Charleston dance moves. You will be learning and reviewing side by side Charleston figures, as well as be introduced to Tandem Charleston (where partners are in line, with one behind the other while facing in the same direction and holding hands.) The prerequisite is to have taken at least on swing class that included Charleston and be confident with the basic step. No partner necessary. Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves! This is a series class where each week will build on the previous, so please plan to come the whole month! Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing. Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks. Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
