Carson Street, for the first of our three delightful Victorian Teas of the season. Step most gracefully into the splendor of spring and a gentler century, where amid lace and laughter you shall partake of fragrant fine teas, tender scones lavishly crowned with rich clotted cream, bright lemon curd, and jeweled preserves, artfully prepared savory finger sandwiches, delicate sweet confections, and a sparkling flute of champagne raised in cheerful salute to the season’s return. This intimate and refined gathering recalls the elegance of a proper nineteenth-century reception, where conversation sparkles as brightly as crystal, and following our repast, guests shall enjoy a guided promenade through the historic Foreman-Roberts House, where the stories of Carson City linger in every gracious room. Victorian attire is warmly encouraged—feathers, gloves, and finery most welcome—though modern dress shall be received with equal delight.
