Bowen Bird Walk

The Waukegan Park District is partnering with Lake County Audubon Society and Sharing Our Shore – Waukegan to host Bowen Bird Walk on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 8am to 9:30am starting at Haines House Museum in Bowen Park, located at 1917 N. Sheridan Road. This program is for adults, families and children over 8 years of age. Learn about the nature all around you! Join the Lake County Audubon Society for a local bird walk in Bowen Park. This family friendly walk will help you build your observational skills for the birds in the Waukegan area by both sight and sound. Binoculars available to borrow. Walking and silent watching will be a part of this program. Adults must accompany youth. Preregistration is required and the deadline to register is Wednesday, July 8, 2026. $5 fee for residents and $10 for nonresidents.
