Celebrate Ray Bradbury’s birthday with a guided walking tour through the streets that inspired his stories! Join the Waukegan Park District and the Waukegan Historical Society for the Something Waukegan This Way Comes Walking Tour on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm at the Waukegan History Museum at the Carnegie, located at 1 N. Sheridan Road. Explore the places that inspired Bradbury’s fictional “Green Town,” featured in Dandelion Wine, Farewell Summer, and Something Wicked This Way Comes.
