Gather Round - Community Storytelling Event

Gather Round is WMOCA’s community storytelling night, where neighbors take the stage to share true stories. This evening’s theme is Firsts. A first day on the job. A first heartbreak. A first time you were brave, or lost, or surprised by who you turned out to be. These moments change us, and they leave us with lessons we’re still learning from. Come to listen, to laugh, and to see the people around you in a new way. Whether you have a story to tell or just want to hear a few, there’s a seat for you. Hosted by Seth Alwin, owner of Object Homewares. When: Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Doors at 6:00 pm, storytelling at 7:00 pm. Where: The Grand Ballroom, Historic Wausau Club, 309 McClellan Street, Wausau Cost: Free and open to all. Donations are gratefully accepted. Cash bar available. Please, no carry-ins. Presented by Object Homewares and hosted by the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art. For more details, visit Gather Round | Object
