Poetry Open Mic

This November, the Grand Ballroom becomes a stage for the poets and writers of Northern Wisconsin. Hosted by Jill Stukenberg, author of News of the Air. Bring a poem, a page, or a few minutes of something you've written. All voices welcome. Featured readers: Mai Kao Hang, Wausau Poet Laureate, and Freesia McKee, poet and assistant professor, UW-Stevens Point. We'll close with a short conversation about what this series should become. Free and open to all. Donations are gratefully welcomed. Cash bar available.
