Hands-on handmade map envelopes art class in the Book Arts studio! Make your own envelopes! In this origami maps envelope making class, each participant will create their own 5 envelopes with two practice envelopes. After creating the envelopes, we’ll do some letter writing. Paper is provided to decorate and write about plans for the future, rules to live by, words of encouragement, and any message and art as a journey to self-reflection, or sending to a friend. Some of her books are a pamphlet stitch book about working at a pet distribution shop, Leaving Home, Talk Story, an accordion book with personal photos from Hawaii, and watercolor pictures next to her poems, Makai Mauka Hawaii Haiku, and A Granddaughter’s Memories (Foothills Publishing, 2021).
