About this event

Hands-on lego printmaking art class in the Book Arts Studio! Get creative in our lego printmaking Class! Design your own relief print with lego blocks using a variety of shapes and sizes to create a pattern or stylized image. We’ll ink up our finished design lego plates and print onto paper. Each participant can make a small edition of prints, a few copies, approximately 5″x7″. You will be given hands-on demonstrations and assistance every step of the way, with lots of time for figuring out how you want your design to look. Or, come with a design idea ready to go! All ages and experience levels are welcome, participating children must be accompanied by an adult. Things to Note: • Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages 10+ • All necessary tools and materials needed to participate are provided. •  It’s helpful to bring your own simple image (printed or digital) or an idea of what you’d like to carve into your linoleum block! • A fabric item (tea towel or tote bag) is provided, but feel free to bring an additional item as desired. • Please read our ‘Plan Your Visit’ page to review our health & safety procedures.
