Hands-on bookbinding art classes in the Book Arts Studios! In this sketchbook bookmaking class, each participant will create their own 5 signature sketchbook, roughly 4″ x 6″. They will learn general book binding vocabulary, as well as the processes that go into creating a sketchbook using the long stitch, start to finish. Each book will be customizable, with the options to pick your own thread color and decorative paper for the cover. Things to note: • Makers of all skill levels are welcome. This class is suitable for ages teen+. • All necessary tools to participate are provided. As an artist who focuses on pen drawing and oil painting, they have been hand binding their own sketchbooks for years, to suite their individual needs as an artist.
